The number of tourists to Tien Giang rises in New Year 2017

According to the statistics of the Management Board of Tien Giang tourism harbour, within three days New Year holidays from December 31, 2016 to January 2, 2017, the unit has received nearly 8,000 tourists, an increase of approximately 10 percent in comparision with the same period of 2016. Most of them were 6,200 foreign tourists from countries: Malaysia, South Korea, U.S.A, etc …

Although the quantity of tourists increased, the tourism companies did not increase ticket prices to attract customers as well as to promote Tien Giang tourism image. Besides, the status of inviting tourists wih insistence was concentrated by the Management Board in oder to prevent for giving a good impression to tourists coming to Tien Giang.
