The VOBF 2017 will be the largest e-commerce forum in Vietnam.

The VOBF, the largest e-commerce forum in Vietnam, is scheduled to be held annually from this year, bringing together e-commerce communities, both at home and abroad, Hung said.

The event will offer a platform for agencies, organisations, businesses and individuals to discuss new online business trends, outstanding technologies and innovative business initiatives, while introducing new market studies relating to e-commerce in Vietnam and around the globe, thereby enabling enterprises to make relevant adjustments to their business strategies, he added.

According to Vecom General Secretary Tran Trong Tuyen, the forum will focus on four topics relating to e-commerce in 2017, including the impacts of cloud and mobile technologies on e-commerce, multi-channel sales (ommi-channel), cross-border e-commerce and startups in online business.

At the forum the Vietnam e-commerce index 2017 will be announced on the basis of a survey conducted among thousands of businesses across the country, thereby facilitating the quick evaluation of the e-commerce application level and serving the comparison of progress in e-commerce application between localities, Tuyen said.

He noted that participants will have the chance to make exchanges with leaders of the companies providing outstanding technologies and services to online business, such as Z.com, Verisign, Bizweb, Gimasys, TrustPay, Interspace, Netnam, Vinalink and iNet.

Startup entrepreneurs and adventure investors from Vatgia.com, MOG, iCheck, Vexere, CyberAgent, VinaCapital and Dragon Capital will share experience concerning notes when opening online businesses, ranging from passion and determination to the importance of innovative ideas, capital mobilisation and media, aiming to bring the highest benefits to participating delegates.
