Scare durian fetches high prices

Durian speciality in Cai Lay district always fetches high prices in recent days. Many farmers planted durian have not enough durian to sell. The reason of high prices is scare durian.

Monthong, Ri6 durian variety are bought by traders at garden with 100,000-105,000 VND per a kilogram. At some places, traders buy 115,000 VDN per a kilogram.

Trader Nguyen Tien Duyet in Tam BIinh commune, Cai Lay district said that: Price of durian now is high because scare durian. As forecast, durian source will be plentiful on lunar March 10-15 with the price at about 60,000 VND per a kilogram.
