Workshop on Mekong Delta enterprise enterprise under the impact of global economic fluctuation in 2017

On March 8, Can Tho Branch of VCCI (Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vietnam) organized a workshop under the theme "Mekong Delta Agriculture and Seafood Enterprises under the impact of global economic fluctuation in 2017".

Deputy Chairman of Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee Le Van Nghia, Deputy Chairman of Ben Tre provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Huu Lap, representative  of departments, enterprises of Tien Giang province, Long An province, Ben Tre province and Tra Vinh province attended.

At the workshop, delegates were informed about the economic and business situation of Mekong Delta in 2016 as well as prospect and challenges in 2017, the change, the advantages and difficulties of Vietnam in the trend of changing world political economy, the changes in macroeconomic policy of the State and impacts on enterprises and economic scenarios with impacts on Vietnam economy in 2017.

Speaking at the workshop, Deputy Chairman of Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Le Van Nghia affirmed that the seminar was a constructive dialogue chanel between the provincial People's Committees, cities of the southwestern enterprise community to build a favorable business environment, attracting investment to stimulate economic growth in the Mekong Delta, thereby helping leaders of provinces, cities and enterprise community have solutions to develop Mekong Delta region to become th dynamic economic in the coming time.
