Durian of the main crop fetches high prices

Although this time has been transitional moment between the main crop and the outseasonable crop, traders buy durian with 65,000-90,000 VND per a kilogram according to quality of fruit.

At the main crop, lasts from February to August on lunar year, traders came to garden buying durian with an average price of 25,000-30,000 VND per kilogram. Especially this year, traders have bought Ri 6 and Monthong variety with 40,000-50,000 VND per kilogram, increased by 10,000-20,000 VND per kilogram in comparision with the same last year.

With this present prices, farmers planted durian are pleasure because they do not cost much expenditure in comparision with the outseasonable crop.
