Enterprises honoured with National Quality Awards

The Prime Minister has decided to present the 2016 National Quality Awards to 77 Vietnamese enterprises, as announced by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Under the decision, 15 enterprises will be awarded with golden prizes while the remaining 62 enterprises will receive silver prizes.

Among 15 golden prize winners, eight are large production companies, six are medium and small sized production enterprises, and one medium and small sized service enterprises.

Out of 62 silver winners, 25 are large enterprises and 37 are medium and small sized companies in the fields of production and service.

The annual National Quality Awards aim to honour enterprises and organisations with outstanding achievements in production, business and service, significantly contributing to socio-economic development of the country.

The awards contribute to improving the position of domestic products and service, as well as encourage the enterprises to raise their capacity, competitiveness and integration in both domestic and international markets.

In addition, three Vietnamese enterprises, namely Civil Engineering Construction Coporation No. 4 – Hanoi, Dong Nai province’s Electrical Equipment Company (THIBIDI) and Lam Dong Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (LADOPHAR), will be awarded the Asia-Pacific Global Performance Excellence Awards.
