Commercial furniture, trade villiage fair-Tien Giang 2016 kicks off

Tien Giang Investment-Trade-Tourism Promotion Center in collaboration with My Tho city People’s Committee held Commercial furniture, trade villiage fair-Tien Giang 2016 from May 6 to 14, 2017.

Attending the opening ceremony, Chief of the Southwest Steering Committee Office Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Duc and leaders of provincial departments as well as leaders of My Tho city Party Committee, My Tho People's Committee, etc... attended this event.

The fair attracted 130 inside and outside province enterprises participated with 240 showcases. Goods exhibited at the fair were diversified and plentiful including traditional trade village, specialty products of trade villages, furniture, interior decoration, handicrafts, food, processed food, etc…

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee sai that the fair is the promotion trade in domestic market activity to support enterprises, industrial handicraft establishments, trade villages to introduce and promote products, seeking partners as well as grasping market demand in oder to improve production capacity. This is also the activity to build and advertise the image of the traditional craft villages of the province, especially the specific products of three economic-urban areas of the province, etc...

At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee of the fair also presented gift to 60 poor households in My Tho city.
