Leaders of Tien Giang and Long An province receives road investor

On May 11, Deputy Secretary of Tien Giang provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong and leader of Long An province had a meeting with investor for roads interconnected two provinces.

At the meeting, the Southern transportation design consultant joint stock company presented and analyzed the joint project of two provinces. This is the investment project to build a road connected Trung Luong junction to Highway 50 under the PPP (Public-Private Partner) model.

This project has a 45.3 km-long-line 1 and a 49.3 km-long-line 2. The coincided part between two lines is 18.7 km. The total investment of the project is VND7,100 billion including VND2,900 billion under the BOT (build-operate-transfer) model, VND3,800 billion under BT (build-transfer) model and VND400 billion from added capital of the State.

Leaders of two provinces evaluated the interconnected road project to facilitate the development of two localities and expected the close coordination to implement project effectivelly.
