Tien Giang and Da Nang city cooperate to produce, consume safe agricultural products

On July 3, Tien Giang provincial People's Committee represented by Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Da Nang city People's Committee represented by Standing Deputy Chairman of the Da Nang city People's Committee Dang Viet Dung signed a cooperation agreement on production and consumption of safe agricultural products between two locals.

According to the agreement, Tien Giang province will build and develop many chains for supplying safely agricultural products from production stage in Tien Giang province to shops in Da Nang city.  To coordinate the inspection and supervision of safely food for establishments and regions produced agricultural products in Tien Giang province to supply products to Da Nang city and business establishments in Da Nang city imported agricultural products from Tien Giang province; to trace origin of products and handle violations of safe food according to regulations.

To support and facilitate enterprises, cooperatives and safe agricultural production establishments of Tien Giang province to access Da Nang city's market. through the program fairs, seminars linked with businesses of Da Nang city or access to distribution systems such as wholesale markets, supermarkets, distribution of safe agricultural products, etc… in Da Nang city. To strengthen the exchange of expertise, management experience, information to improve efficiency in production and consumption of safe agricultural products.

Da Nang city will support and create favorable conditions for businesses of Tien Giang and Da Nang city to sign a contract to produce, consume fruit, safe seafood; to coordinate the state management of agro-forestry-fishery food safety between two local; to build fruit and fisheries supply chains in Tien Giang and consume products at Da Nang city.

To control strictly the source of fruit and seafood products produced from Tien Giang province to consumption in Da Nang city, especially in supermarkets and wholesale markets, shops, etc ... to ensure food safety. To coordinate and promptly supply information on consignments of fruit and aquatic products failing to ensure food safety and hygiene into Da Nang city originated from Tien Giang province to trace origin and handle unsafe food sources according to regulation. To organize conferences, seminars, fairs of fruits and safe fishery products to propagate and promote safe products in oder to promote the development of safe agricultural production and consumption.

At this ceremony, enterprises, cooperatives and garment factories in Tien Giang province signed a contract to export fruit, safe vegetables to imported enterprises.
