Chairman of the PPC contacts periodically with 50 enterprises

On the afternoon of September 28, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong and Deputy Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Le Van Nghia co-chaired the third business meeting in 2017 with 50 enterprises.

Director of Department of Planning and Investment Tran Van Dung informed the province's socio-economic situation and business development in the first nine months of 2017 as well as the result of solving difficulties and obstacles of enterprises in the past time. Accordingly, economic growth in the first 9 months of 2017 in the province grew quite high, reaching 9.1%. The export turnover reached USD 1,842.3 million, achieving 78.4% of the year plan, increasing 24% over the same period, etc...

The development situation of enterprises achieved positive results. The number of newly registered enterprises was 504 with the total registered capital reached VND2,001.4 billion, increased by 20% in number of enterprises. Up to the end of August 2017, the number of businesses operating in the province was 4,293 enterprises. From the beginning of 2017 up to now, the PPC organized two dialogue meetings and resolved 17 proposals of enterprises. Besides, the PPC  organized many delegations to work and solve difficulties for 8 enterprises, etc…

After hearing the report of the Department of Planning and Investment, most of opinions of enterprises satisfied with the solutions of the PPC for many difficulties and obstacles of enterprises in the past. However, businesses wanted the PPC to continue to support the difficulties and obstacles that enterprises faced related issues of land use certificates, tax policies, traffic, the need to recruit labor, garbage, street vendors, traffic jams in Tan Huong Industrial Zone (Chau Thanh district), etc…

All the proposals of enterprises at the dialogue were answered by Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong. At the same time, he directed the departments, branches and leaders of the concerned localities to immediately reply or acknowledge for settlement within the specified time limit and report on the progress of settlement results to the PPC and enterprises.
