The Tien Giang provincial Centre for Enterprises Support and Development established

On the morning of September 9, the Tien Giang provincial Department of Planning and Investment held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish The Tien Giang provincial Centre for Enterprises Support and Development. Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong, Deputy Director of VCCI - Can Tho branch Nguyen Huu De attended this event.

The Tien Giang provincial Centre for Enterprises Support and Development was established under the Decision No.2299/QD-UBND dated 31 July 2016 of the PPC. Accordingly, the centre belongs to the Tien Giang provincial Department of Planning and Investment. The center is a revenue-generating unit with legal status, its head office (located at the Tien Giang provincial Department of Planning and Investment), its own seal and account. There are ten persons to work at the center in 2017.

The Tien Giang provincial Centre for Enterprises Support and Development has the function of providing services on establishment of enterprises, expansion of production and business; to support enterprises to access policies to support business development; to carry out start-up support activities.

In addition, the center will also carry out the following tasks such as: To assisting the Tien Giang provincial Department of Planning and Investment to carry out the functions and tasks of supporting business development in the province; to assist businesses in accessing government and provincial development support policies; to implement services to support the establishment of enterprises, expanding production, business and other services related to enterprises; undertaking start-up support activities; to carry out research projects on local socio-economic development and on business development support; to manage the organization of the apparatus, the number of employees, assets and finance assigned to them according to the decentralization and the provisions of law; to perform other tasks assigned by the Director of the Tien Giang provincial Department of Planning and Investment in accordance with the functions and duties of the center.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Chairman of the PPC emphasized that The Tien Giang provincial Centre for Enterprises Support and Development will be the focal point to assist enterprises in implementing administrative procedures, to help businesses access resources and support policies for business of the central and provincial; to carry out business start-up activities, start-up support, to research activities on business development solutions and socio-economic development in the province.
