Speaking at the event themed “The Government and private groups join hands in economic development”, PM Phuc acknowledged and spoke highly of achievements in production and business recorded by the participating enterprises.

The PM stressed that they are the most successful private groups which have made important contributions to the national economy.

The Government leader said he wants the enterprises to honestly talk about their difficulties and challenges, emphasising that the dialogue was a concrete action to implement the Resolution on the development of the private sector, which was adopted at the 12th Party Central Committee’s 5th plenum.

The dialogue also provided a good opportunity to realise the Resolution No.5 in order to create a favourable legal and business environments to allow the private sector to develop in the right direction, he added.

PM Phuc also highlighted the recent progress which has been achieved by the private sector, however, he also pointed out a lack of large-scale private companies. Most of the Vietnamese private enterprises are of small-, medium- and micro-sized firms, he noted.

He affirmed that the Government will collect feedback from the companies to improve the business climate, remove bottlenecks in order to facilitate the private sector’s development.

Opinions collected at the dialogue will help the Government complete relevant policies, contributing to realising the Resolution No.5 in order to create a favourable legal and business environment for the private sector to develop in the right direction, the PM said.
