According to the report of the Tien Giang Department of Finance, in 2017, the estimate total budget revenue in the province reached about 7,595 billion, exceeding 8% over the estimate, higher than the previous year by 14%. In the first 9 months of 2017, the total budget revenue in the province reached over VND 5,542.3 billion, reached 78.8% of the estimate 2017 and increased 9.5% over the same period. In the first nine months of 2017, most revenues were over 75% of estimate year. Total local budget expenditures reached nearly VND 6,597.9 billion, gained 76% of the estimate, increased 0.4% over the same period, etc ... In 2018, the estimated budget of Tien Giang province will be VND7,610 billion to equal 113, 6% compared with 2017 and the estimate budget will be VND 8,993 billion, to equal 110% compared with 2017.

At the conference, delegates discussed solutions for financial revenue and expenditure in 2017 and estimate budget and revenue in 2018. Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong said that there should be the cooperation of the whole political system in the management and management of budgetary finance as well as promote propaganda about budgetary finance, particularly, it should be fair and transparent; anti-corruption, negative in management, financial management budget.
