The Tien Giang provincial People's Committee meets members in October

At the meeting, members of the PPC evaluated the socio-economic situation in October and some recommendations of the PPC to focus in November.

In addition, the members of the PPC gave ideas about statements of the PPC to be submitted at the Provincial People's Council at the end of 2017. There are 12 submissions and 13 draft resolutions for various issues related to economic development of the province from now to 2020.

The report on the decentralization of revenues and expenditures among the budgetary levels under the local administration of Tien Giang province in the period of 2017-2020; the report and the draft resolution to name the roads in the area of My Tho city; the statement on the price of medical examination and treatment services uncovered by the Health Insurance Fund in the state medical examination and treatment establishments under management of the province; the draft resolution to abolish the Resolution No. 07 of 2011 of the People's Council on policies training and fostering staffing and attracting human resources of the province; the draft to decree promulgated regulations to support the improvement of farmer households in Tien Giang province period 2016-2020 and other important statements, etc…

The committee members discussed the actual situation related to the reports on the resolutions, which served as the basis for submitting the appropriate resolution to the People's Council. Many shortcomings were also discussed in order to discuss such as: the difficulties in enrollment and management of vocational secondary education in the education sector and in the labor and social affairs sector; improving the quality of e-government, especially the grassroots level, solutions to implement the Resolution N0.10 of the Provincial Party Committee on the development of three economic regions.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong agreed to the recommendations related to personnel work; to attach importance to the reception of citizens; the problem of 12 public houses in Nam Ky Khoi Nghia street to be dealt with according to the law; the program of action for implementation of the Central Resolution 6; the work of capital construction, the construction of new rural areas, the situation of budget collection, striving to launch new rural districts in Go Cong district, Cho Gao district and other important issues.
