Linking to stabilize price on the occasion of Tet

Department of Industry and Commerce of Tien Giang province has hosted a conference to summarize the work of market stabilization between the provinces and cities in the Mekong delta and Ho Chi Minh city in 2017.

The trade cooperation programs to stabilize the market between provinces, cities in the Mekong delta and Ho Chi Minh City has promoted the development of cooperative relations and joint ventures, facilitating business cooperation with each other. This cooperation program also creates a link to develop investment and supply goods for the domestic market, helping enterprises gradually develop production - distribution according to the process, towards sustainable development.

The supply of essential commodities for the Lunar New Year has had a positive impact on market prices, without the phenomenon of commodity scarcity, raising price suddenly. According to the statistics of provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta and Ho Chi Minh City, there were about 66 enterprises participated in the market stabilization program.

In addition to implemen the program linking supply and demand, stabilizing the market, localities also implemented the program "Vietnamese goods to the countryside" in response to the campaign "Vietnamese people prefer to use Vietnamese goods". In 2017, localities held 72 "Vietnamese goods to rural areas" fair attracted more than 700 business participants, with turnover of about VND40 billion and over 345,000 visitors at the market.

At the conference, leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade of the provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta and the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City signed a memorandum of agreement linked supply and demand, stabilizing the market in 2018.
