The high-speed train connected Tien Giang - Vung Tau to open

On December 8, General Director of Greenlines DP Tran Song Hai said that the company prepared the facilities ready to see off and pick up guests from Tien Giang, Ben Tre to Vung Tau and vice versa.

According to Hai, the high-speed train connected the West with Vung Tau will have two lines: Tien Giang - Vung Tau, Ben Tre - Vung Tau. At present, the company has prepared 8 ships to ensure no lack of means. The means of transport includes two types 96 and 132 seats with designs from Europe by the General Department of Defense Industry of Vietnam.

As expected, the frequency of operation of the express train is 4 trips per day (both to and from) and takes 2 hours 15 minutes per trip. The station in Tien Giang will be located at My Tho tourist station. If in December, the station in My Tho has not been exploited, the company will temporarily transfer from Tien Giang to Ben Tre.

The company has estimated normal fare about VND290,000 per a ticket. For adults over 62 years old will receive a 30% discount. Children from 6-11 years old will be charged half of the adult price. For children under six years of age sat in their parents' arms, the company will not collect money; disabled persons will be exempted.

The high-speed train connected Tien Giang - Vung Tau will help to shorten the travel time compared to travel by road as before.
