200 hectares planed to develop hi-tech breeding

ABO -Before the situation of raising livestock and poultry increasingly difficult due to complicated disease and unstable price, Tien Giang province is restructuring the livestock industry in the direction of concentrated breeding with great scale. Accordingly, the province planed 200 hectare in Tan Phuoc district to call for investment in the hi-tech breeding development.

This hi-tech breeding zone located in Thanh Hoa commune, Tan Phuoc district meets the requirements of infrastructure, environment, labor source, etc.., in which the road, electricity and water system is basically completed to meet the need of breeding cattle and poultry to apply the hi-tech breeding process.
In order to attract investment in this hi-tech breeding area, local authorities creates favorable conditions on administrative procedures, to be ready to grant breeding licenses to organizations and individuals that satisfy the regulations on animal husbandry according to Decision 19 of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee.

The Veterinary Department of Tien Giang and Tan Phuoc district are willing to consult, transfer technology breeding, disease prevention, etc... for the farms; to give a priority support enterprises to develop animal husbandry in the value chain model, food safety and hygiene from the farm to the dining table with stable output.

Currently, Tien Giang province has a total of over 10 million poultry, over 400,000 pigs and 120,000 cows. 100% of all large scale farms apply strict measures to treat animal waste.
