Aquaculture output gets 200.8 thousand tons in nine months

ABO – According to the Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee, the aquaculture output got 200.8 tons of seafood in nine months, the accumulated aquaculture output reached more than 31,973 tons in four months.

The accumulated breeding output is expected to reach 49,213 tons, up 2.5% over the same period including mainly production of shrimp and Tra industrial fish.

Prices of some breeding aquaculture products now have got rather high price such as: dieu hong fish (read tilapia) with the price of VND 41.000-44.000 per kg; Tra fish with the price of VND 27.000-29.000 per kg.

The accumulated exploit output reached 90.9 thousand tons (up 6.9% over the same period).

The province continues to implement Directive No. 45/CT-TTg dated December 13, 2017 by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on some urgent tasks and solutions following the EC’s warning; continuing deploying many policies on developing aquiculture, etc…
