The Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway project: Handing over 99.34% of premises

ABO – The Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway project (referred as project) has a length of 51.1km with affected 3,292 households, according to Director of Tien Giang Department of Transportation Tran Van Bon.

Up to now, the province has handed over clean ground to investors reaching 50.77km/51.1km, reaching 99.34%. In particular, 119 households have not received compensation and support money including 112 households of Cai Be district, 6 households of Chau Thanh district and 1 household of Cai Lay district.

Until now, investors have implemented all 21/21 construction and installation packages assessed and approved plans, accumulated construction volume so far is about 19.12%.

At present, the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee is focusing on directing localities to mobilize households to receive compensation, definitely resolving unsettled cases to hand over the ground to the project enterprise. The project will be completed in July as expected.

According to Director of Tien Giang Department of Transportation Tran Van Bon, the biggest difficulty in implementing the project currently is that investors do not have access to loans from banks.
