Tien Giang welcomes over 1.5 thousand visitors in 9 months

ABO – According to the Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee, in 9 months, Tien Giang province served more than 1.5 thousand visitors in 9 months, reaching 71.5% of the plan, up 5.6% over the same period.
In which, international visitors reached 476.7 thousand, reaching 56.8% of the plan, up 0.3% over the same period.

The revenue from accommodation, dining and tourism activities reached 4,979 billion VND, up 9.1%; of which, accommodation and catering services accounted for 98.2%.

In the last months, the tourism sector will well organize Dong Hoa Hiep ancient cultural and tourism festival; retraining and development courses for local tourism human resources; participating in tourism fairs, exhibitions and events organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and other provinces and cities.

In addition, the tourism sector continues promoting tourism promotion activities; receiving Famtrip delegations to survey for promoting and introducing Tien Giang tourism products.
