Tien Giang's industrial production index increases 11.4 percent in eleven months

ABO –The index of industrial production (IIP) of the province in eleven months of this year gained the rate of 11.4 percent in comparision with the same period, according to the Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee.

In eleven months, the IIP increased by 11.4% over the same period, including: manufacturing and processing increased 11.3 percent; water supply, waste management and treatment gas, water, heating and air conditioning increased 18.8 percent; production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning rose 8.4 percent.

Some industries with high inventory index over the same period are: food production and processing increased by 62.4 percent; beverage production increased by 9.6 times; costume production increased by 6.1 times; leather production increased by 84 percent; medicine, pharmaceutical chemistry and medicine production increased by 5.1 percent; metal production increased by 112.9 percent, etc…

The industrial production value in November was 10,663 billion VND; the accumulated up to now reached 113,571 billion VND, up 13.4 percent over the same period, reaching 97 percent in comparison with the year plan.

In which, non-state economic sector achieved 5,333 billion VND, the accumulated was 56,864 billion VND, up 13.4% over the same period; the FDI sector achieved 5,218 billion VND, the accumulated was 55,503 billion VND, up 13.4% over the same period and the state-owned economic sector achieved 112 billion VND, the accumulated was 1,204 billion VND, an increase of 16 percent over the same period.
