There were over 100 male and female athletes from 12 units attended the traditional martial arts of Tien Giang Sports Festival in 2018 including 11 units from the urban and 1 from the Tien Giang Police.

Athletes competed in two contents including performing martial arts, fighting and competing in weight classes. In the fighting content, athletes competed in eight male weight classes and seven female weight classes.

After four nights of exciting competition with many matches or strong opponents, the traditional martial arts festival of Tien Giang province was closed. The Organizing Committee awarded gold, silver and bronze medals to athletes with high achievement in two performances and fighting competition.
