Exhibition highlights traditional costumes of ethnic minority groups in Dak Lak

ABO/NDO- A n exhibition entitled “Traditional costumes of ethnic minority groups in Dak Lak”, was launched at the Dak Lak Museum in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak o n March 8, promoting the traditional cultural values of Vietnamese ethnic minority groups.

The exhibition showcased 45 images, 130 artefacts and writing on costumes of ethnic minority groups in Dak Lak province.

The exhibition is also held in response to the 8th Buon Ma Thuat Coffee Festival 2023, scheduled for March 10 – 14.

On this occasion, the Dak Lak Museum also launched an automatic audio guide system, to bring visitors new and interesting experiences.

The stories featured in the automatic audio guide system will give visitors information and multi-dimensional perspectives on nature, history, culture, and the land and people of Dak Lak, from the past to the present.

Dak Lak province is located in the centre of the Central Highlands region, with a rich local cultural identity and 49 ethnic minority groups. The province is also well known for coffee, rubber, pepper, durian, festivals and the gong culture.
