Tien Giang honors 579 outstanding students

On the morning of August 15, the Tien Giang Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to honor and congratulate 579 outstanding students in the academic year 2016-2017.

In the school year 2016-2017, the whole province has 5 good students at the national high school level, 476 good students at the provincial high school level. For the junior high school level, there are 436 good students at the provincial level and 1,143 students won the provincial competitions with the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Olympics on the Internet, etc…

On this occasion, the Tien Giang Department of Education and Training also recognized and honored students achieved high results in the past national high school exam including one student as the first top, nine students got over 29 points for three subjects and sixty excellent students got of all grades.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Duc commended the academic achievement of the excellent students.
