Tien Giang University holds the opening ceremony for the new academic year 2017 – 2018

On September 27, Tien Giang University has just held the opening ceremony for the new academic year 2017 – 2018 and received the certificate of accreditation of university education. Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Duc attended the ceremony.

In the academic year 2016-2017, Tien Giang University successfully completed the school year with many encouraging results. The percentage of students got vocation after leaving school is 89.6%. The university has 26 topics, projects accepted. The percentage of teachers with master's degree or above is 90% of the total number of lecturers, etc ... In the last school year, the school was accredited by the Center for Education Accreditation - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh city with the results reached 83.61%.

Deputy Chairman of the PPC Tran Thanh Duc congratulated and warmly praised the efforts of the school to achieve the accreditation of education quality. He also added that Tien Giang University has constantly improved the quality, scale of training. Many scientific research topics of teachers and students increasingly apply to the real and the student movement is well appreciated.
