Korean students implement the volunteer program in Cai Lay town

On December 28, the People's Committee of My Phuoc Tay commune, Cai Lay town held a ceremony to welcome 64 students of Changwon National University, Chonbuk National University (South Korea) and nearly 10 students of Tien Giang University to implement the multicultural volunteer program in My Phuoc Tay commune, Cai Lay town.

Volunteer students at Changwon National University, Chonbuk National University and Tien Giang University will have one week (from December 12, 2017 – January 3, 2018) to learn about history, literature economic conditions and rural development in Cai Lay town, to eat together as well as live together and work as co-workers with local people, to interact with students and practise simple classroom experiments and donate equipment to schools.

The delegation will stay for one week to learn about culture, exchange and help local people in difficult circumstances. In particular, the volunteer students will help the poor in the commune to build 10 toilets.

This is a meaningful activity to supporte difficult families in the remote areas of My Phuoc Tay commune, contributing to the strengthening of the friendship between Vietnam and Korea.
