ABO - On March 7, the mission of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) led by Deputy Chairman of the PPC  to inspect the application and development of information technology (IT) and electronic government construction in the Tien Giang province Police.

After two years of implementing the Government Resolution No.36a/NQ-CP15 on e-government, the plan of the Ministry of Public Security and the PPC to promote the application and development of IT, building e-government, the Tien Giang province Police has developed a plan to organize the implementation to shorten the processing process, reduce the number, simplify and standardize the content of the documents, reduce the time to solve administrative procedures.

Accordingly, the Tien Giang province Police has built a synchronous and modern information infrastructure, equipped with more than 1,200 computers for soldiers to serve the requirements of task. The unit received a transfer and deployed effectively application of professional software, databases shared in the fields of security and social order and safety; deploying electronic portal, over 75% of text transferred through IT infrastructure.

Depuy Chairman of the PPC Tran Thanh Duc highly appreciated the application of IT of the Tien Giang province Police to serve people positively. He asked the unit to strengthen the equipment as well as build a database of police to share with the departments in building e-government in the coming time.
