The scientific workshop on development of new agricultural cooperatives

ABO - On March 22, the Tien Giang Union of Science and Technology Association cooperated with the Provincial Cooperative Alliance to organize a scientific workshop on the development of new agricultural cooperatives in the province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee informed the scientists and representatives about the development of Tien Giang's collective economy in recent years. Until now, Tien Giang province has 142 cooperatives operating in all fields. Some cooperatives have mobilized more capital, actively developing members, expanding production and business, ... contributing to creating jobs, increasing income for the people.

At the workshop, scientists discussed issues such as: Solutions for the development of new cooperatives in Tien Giang province; Main orientations of the agriculture sector to support the development and maintenance of cooperative activities under the new model; Solutions to support cooperatives to build production chain linked to consumption of Tien Giang agricultural products, etc... The workshop aimed at finding solutions to consolidate and develop new type of cooperative in Tien Giang province.
