In 2013, Tien Giang's IT readiness index ranked 56 out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide. At the conference, Deputy Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Duc highlighted the important role of using IT to improve work efficiency in order to better serve the people as well as promote the socio-economic development in Tien Giang province.
