With the desire to proactively warn of natural disasters to have active solutions to minimize the damage, Hoang Thai and Thuy An carried out the model to warning flood in the Mekong Delta.

This device is designed with three levels of alarm: At level 1, when the water rises to this level, the buoy will rise to the water level as well as the lamp in the alarm level box 1 will emit green.

Level 2 is also similar. When the water surpasses level 1 and reaches level 2, the lamp at the alarm level box 2 will signal yellow (this alarm level warns high alert).

At level 3, when the water rises to level 3, the lights in the alarm box 3 signal red and accompanied by sirens sound repeatedly, signaling danger. It is necessary to emergency response to minimize possible damage.

According to Hoang Thai, this device has a simple structure. It can be built and installed at the monitoring stations along the large rivers or near the river mouth for easy monitoring and warning floods to actively respond. This solution can connect to the Internet to transmit signals to the processing center, etc...
