Workshop on accessing to information on environmental protection

ABO – The Institute of Legal Science under Ministry of Justice in collaboration with the Tien Giang province Department of Justice held a workshop to assess the status of access to information on environmental protection of people and organizations in the Tien Giang province.

The workshop aimed to assess the needs and status of public disclosure and access to information on environmental protection of people and organizations in the Tien Giang province; the status of communication and dissemination of policies and legislation on environmental protection; the collection, management, storage, exploitation and use of environmental information in state agencies today.

Participants in the workshop presented many ideas to clarify the harmful factors to the environment, through activities from investment projects, production activities, people's life, many socio-political occupation organizations in the Tien Giang province. On that basis, the specialists will analyze and synthesize practical solutions and improve the effectiveness of accessing information on environmental protection of people and organizations in the Tien Giang province in the coming time.
