Five joint regional scientific research projects approved

ABO - At the working session on October 25, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong approved five joint regional scientific research projects of Tien Giang province with Dong Thap Muoi sub-region, coastal sub-region of the east River delta and the southern key economic zone, with the total cost about VND 10 billion.

Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong stressed that in November, the industry must find investors to approve the project. The selection of investors must be in line with the agency in charge of the scheme. In December 2018, the units must complete the progress of the detailed project, etc...

At the meeting, relevant departments reported on the implementation progress of the projects and proposed options for effective implementation of the project.

 

Accordingly, five provincial scientific research projects linked to the province including: Building provincial growth scenarios associated with regions and sub-regions; building the linkage chain for production and consumption of agricultural products and foodstuff; mechanisms and policies to generate investment capital for transport infrastructure; linking tourism development; linking urban development.

 

The joint regional scientific research projects of the province expect to promote science - technology activities and the socio - economic development of the province.
