Tien Giang province hosts the first international conference of Neurological

ABO - The first international conference of Neurological in combination with the 21th Vietnam Neurological conference was hosted by Tien Giang Department of Health, the Tien Giang General Hospital and the Tien Giang Neurological Association organization, at My Tho city on November 2.

This event attracted more than 1,000 delegates from provinces and cities in the country and from many countries around the world.

The conference lasted in two days from November 2 and 3 with many topics by experienced professors, associate professors, doctors from national and regional medical institutes and universities, territories: United States, Australia, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, India, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, etc…

Associate Professor Dr Vu Anh Nhi, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Neuroscience Association, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Neurology Association, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Epilepsy Association said that this is a great opportunity for a team of physicians specialized in neurology to exchange, update knowledge, skills, practice as well as exchange, share each other's experience to apply and meet the increasing demand for neurological health care among the people.

At the conference, leader of Tien Giang Department of Health, Professor Bruce Miller and Dr. Jennifer Yokohama, California Medical Director, San Francisco, U.S.A discussed and signed a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of the Center for Neurology international in Tien Giang province with the main tasks such as: Medical examination and treatment of high quality neurology; scientific research and international cooperation; human resource training and transfer of neuroscience technology; organize seminars and conferences specialized in neurology.

This is considered a breakthrough development orientation of the health sector in the coming time. At the same time, it is also the expectation of the provincial leaders and Tien Giang people to integrate into the world's scientific progress and further improve the quality of people's health care.
