Receiving 239 Vietnamese citizens from Australia for Covid-19 prevention isolation

ABO - At 22:15 pm on March 22, the Tien Giang Military School received 239 Vietnamese citizens from Australia for Covid 19 isolation including 99 males, 133 females and 7 children.

Citizens stand in line to be directed by the quarantine officials.

These citizens were picked up from Can Tho airport and taken directly to the quarantine area of Tien Giang Military School. Leader of Tien Giang Department of Health said that by the time of reception, these 239 citizens did not have any symptoms of acute respiratory infection.

Relatives of the citizen arrived at the quarantine area of the Tien Giang Military School very early, bringing other household items. The authorities are checking the luggage before sending it to the citizens participating in the quarantine.

During the 14-day isolation period, citizens will be provided with all the basic necessities for living; at the same time, all meals are free of charge during the period of isolation.

Before the quarantined citizen arrived, the quarantine team of Tien Giang Military School prepared the meal, personal tools and brought it to the citizen's bed.

The quarantined citizens received 80,000 VND/person / day from the Tien Giang People's Committee of Tien Giang. In particular, the central budget supports 57,000 VND/person /day, the rest of the provincial budget subsidies.
