Digital challenge forum launched to seek solutions to social issues
ABO/NDO - The Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) has launched the Vietnam digital technology challenge forum as part of the activities to introduce Vietnamese-made platforms to serve in driving national digital transformation.
It is the continuation of the programme entitled “Technology Friday” held throughout 2020, during which the MIC promoted 38 digital platforms which are as good as or even better than similar solutions provided by foreign companies.

With a new name and format, the programme is now takes the form of a forum where guests will be invited to express their opinions about the solutions presented at the event, in addition to the usual introduction of solutions by their developers.
The first episode of the programme featured a smart solution by An Vui, which is expected to help long-distance bus service companies in optimising management and enhancing their competitiveness.
An Vui CEO Phan Ba Manh said the platform is being used by 150 transport companies with a total of 4,000 vehicles.
Speaking at the forum, MIC Deputy Minister Nguyen Huy Dung said that if 2020 was the year when the idea of digital transformation was popularised, then 2021 will be the year in which digital transformation will focus on seeking solutions to social problems.
