At the ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State, NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung presented the Ho Chi Minh Order, a prestigious award, to the Office for their great contributions to the cause of national construction and defence.

Addressing the ceremony, NA Chairman Hung appreciated the outstanding achievements of the Office’s staff over the past 70 years.

The Office has successfully fulfilled its role of advising and assisting the NA in law building as well as monitoring, considering and deciding on important issues, contributing to the country’s development, particularly in the economy, and improving people’s lives.

The NA Chairman also asked the Office to continue to further strengthen its organisational apparatus as well as innovate operational processes and procedures to improve the quality and efficiency of its operations.

He also emphasised that the NA Office needs to consult with the NA and other NA bodies to synchronously implement measures to ensure the enforcement of the Constitution, the Law on National Assembly Organisation and other approved laws and resolutions.

In addition, it is necessary for the Office’s leaders to focus on training talented officers and employees, noted NA Chairman Hung.
