Deputy Prime Minister extends Christmas greetings to Tien Giang

On December 20, Politburo member and Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh extended Christmas greetings to Tien Giang on the occasion of Christmas.
 
Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Danh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Hong Quang, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Van Huong attended this event.

At the Pastoral Center of My Tho diocese, the bishop Nguyen Van Kham and priests welcomed the delegation. Deputy Prime Minister asked after life of fellow parishioners in the diocese and recognised the controbutions of religious people in general and parishioners in particular to the development of the country as well as Tien Giang province. 

On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister informed the bishop and priests about the situation of socioeconomic development of the country in 2016. He stressed that the Party and State would continue to facilitate favorable to parishioners carrying out their freedom of religion and belief right, etc… 
 
Through the bishop and priests, on behalf of the Party and State, he sent to fellow parishioners in My Tho diocese merry and happy Christmas wishes.
 
At Tien Giang Committee for Catholic Solidarity, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh exchanged informally with priest Pham Thanh Minh, chairman of Tien Giang Committee for Catholic Solidarity. Last time, Tien Giang Committee for Catholic Solidarity has performed well its role. In particular, Tien Giang Committee for Catholic Solidarity has the good mobilization for care social security in Tien Giang province, etc ...
