Speaking at the reception, VP Thinh expressed reverence for the contributions and sacrifices of older generations for the nation’s peace, independence and freedom. She affirmed that the Party and State have always reviewed and reasonably modified policies on care and support for revolutionary contributors across the country.

She said she hoped that the delegates would make further contributions to their locality and national development while educating future generations about the country’s patriotic tradition.

Also, VP Thinh reiterated that they should encourage younger generations to build a more prosperous and beautiful locality.

She also asked the provincial Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs to work harder in order to improve the living conditions of revolutionary contributors.

Currently, Tien Giang has more than 22,700 beneficiaries. Over the past years, the province has upgraded, repaired and built numerous martyrs’ cemetery and it has also widely implemented the search for martyr remains.
