Comdare Phan Van Khoe-The resilient communist soldier of Nam Ky

On May 26, the Standing Committee of Tien Giang Provincial Party Committee has just held a scientific workshop on "Comrade Phan Van Khoe – The resilient communist soldier of Nam Ky"

The worshop received more than 30 presentations by scientists, historians on the life and revolutionary cause of comrade Phan Van Khoe, former Secretary of Nam Ky Party Committee, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee My Tho in the Nam Ky Uprising and in the process of restoring and consolidating revolutionary forces, the revolutionary movement after Nam Ky Uprising; his contribution and contribution to the revolutionary movement in Nam Ky as well as the spirit of his revolutionary struggle in Con Dao prison, etc...

Nearly 20 years of revolutionary activity, comrade Phan Van Khoe, the resilient communist, the creative leader of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution, has had great contributions, contributing to the glorious victory in the fight for the national liberation. Especially, with his excellent and creative contributions during the 1940 Nam Ky Uprising, he contributed to the struggle for national independence to victory.

Emphasizing the role of comrade Phan Van Khoe for Nam Ky Upraising, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Phuc, former Director of the Institute of Party History, Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy confirmed: After Nam Ky Uprising, the revolutionary forces were terrorized by the enemy in the sea of blood but he still clung to the locality, trying to reconnect with the Communist Party and the rest of the party. In mid-1941, he was imprisoned but he remained a resounding example the Con Dao prison.

About this, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha, Director of the Institute of Party History, Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy said: "With the dedication of his whole life for the country, motherland as well as the great contribution to the revolution of nation’s cause, on May 30, 1998, comrade Phan Van Khoe was conferred the "Ho Chi Minh Medal" by the State President, the noble order of the Party and State".

Secretary of Tien Giang provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Danh affirmed that the workshop results will be the basis for Tien Giang to compile the yearbook and to build commemorative house for comrade Phan Van Khoe in the coming time.
