This was a conclusion of Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong at the meeting to sum up the direction and management of socio-economic development in 2017 and deployed tasks in 2018, on January 8.

At the meeting, the delegates gave their opinions on the direction and administration in 2017. Addressing the meeting, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong said that the work of the PPC have had many development steps including a number of renovation points, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development, etc...

However, there are still issues to be solved. In 2017, meetings were reduced compared to 2016; Permanent PPC meetings have also been greatly reduced. The PPC will have a lead and study how to effectivel meetings. In the first, members of the PPC will meet to discuss how to effective meeting.
In the coming time, Chairman of the PPC suggested that there should be coordination in handling affairs among units. In terms of professional work, the districts, towns and cities tried to complete the recruitment work.
