Visiting the Provincial Martyrs Cemetery to celebrate Liberation Day

ABO - On the morning of April 27, the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang province visited the Provincial Martyrs Cemetery to celebrate Liberation Day (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2018).

The delegation led by Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Danh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Van Binh, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Van Huong, etc… and representatives of the armed forces, provincial departments, Chau Thanh district and My Tho city.

The delegation offered incense at martyrs station to commemorate heroic martyrs, who were outstanding people of the nation sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the fatherland.

This is the annual traditional activity of the province to pay tribute to the merits of heroes and martyrs who have sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation.

* On the same day, the Tien Giang Post Office organized a ceremony to collect information of martyrs and martyrs' graves. This is the policy of the Government to build a portal for the official search of martyrs, graves and fallen martyrs. According to the Tien Giang Post Office, the collection of information is expected to be completed by the end of May 5, 2018 with 20,050 martyrs 'graves in 20 martyrs' cemetery in the province.
