More meaningful works from the 2018 Summer Youth Volunteer campaign

After more than three months of implementation, the Campaign consists of the green summer campaign, the green operation campaign, the pink holiday campaign and the “Giving strength on the exam” campaign.

These campaigns carried out many meaningful works such as: Supporting construction of "Dream room" for 20 disadvantaged young workers; supporting and helping 122 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, 1,037 policy families, families with meritorious services to the revolution, 496 war invalids and martyrs families.

The Campaign also provided 7,025 free meals, over 23,000 bottles of water, etc... for students attending the national high school examination in 2018; donating 20 family medicine cabinets and 250 health insurance cards for poor households, disadvantaged families, the elderly alone; improving the quality of more than 139 km of rural roads, building a provincial-level transport bridge and 12 district-level and commune-level traffic bridges with concretization and solidification criteria valued at over VND 1.5 billion, etc …

On this occasion, the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee awarded 62 certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with achievements in implementing the Campaign. The Provincial Youth Union also awarded 34 certificates of merit to individuals and groups who have made outstanding achievements in the campaign.
