Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee listens to the doctors' aspiration

ABO - On February 26, Deputy Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong met working doctors in the province on the occasion of the Vietnamese Doctors’ Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2019).

This event saw an attendance of Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Committee for Propaganda and Training of Chau Thi My Phuong; Deputy Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Duc and Director of Tien Giang Department of Health Tran Thanh Thao.

At the meeting, the doctors expressed their excitement when the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee cared and listened to the thoughts and aspirations of the provincial medical staff.

Delegates shared many issues such as difficulties in high-level human resources, especially human resources for preventive systems and mental and tuberculosis specialties; limited facilities, lack of modern medical equipment; low income of health officials and officials, etc… To solve such difficulties, delegates suggested that the province continue to maintain the training program for recruiting with higher targets; having appropriate preferential policies and regimes for medical staff, etc...

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong noted the opinions of the provincial medical staff at the meeting. He said that doctors are precious capital of society. The team of physicians with their passion for service has overcome difficulties and contributed to the development of society.

He hoped that the provincial team of doctors would continue to make efforts for the cause of noble people's health care. At the same time, he affirmed that the provincial leadership always respect and care deeply for the health sector. For many above issues, the province immediately will consider and direct relevant sectors to have a suitable solutions.
