Acknowledging more than 1,400 opinions of people

ABO - On May 14, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong chaired the meeting of the steering committee to improve the Peer Assessment Rating (PAR Index), the Governance Performance Index and Public Administration (PAPI), the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) and the steering committee of building the Provincial e-Government.

Concluding at the meeting, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong asked Tien Giang province Department of Home Affairs to check and review the implementation of the conclusions and direction of the PPC, thereby reviewing and evaluating the attitude and responsibility of chairman of the communes, wards and towns People's Committee.

After meeting with people in 173 communes, wards and towns in the province, the PPC will hold a provincial PAPI review meeting. In addition, departments and agencies focus on elaborating detailed plans on the digital government of Tien Giang province; at the same time, training heads of units, officials in charge of administration and administration, etc...

According to the results of self-assessment Par Index in 2018, Tien Giang province reached nearly 58.1/63.5 points. About PAPI, as of May 10, the PPC leaders organized 29 people meetings (accumulated from 2018 to now as 44 sessions) with more than 7,400 attended people and more than 500 visits. Opinions revolved around the fields of transport, health, administrative procedures in the field of land, environmental sanitation, clean water, etc...

Leaders of the PPC concluded and directed 324 issues and assigned provincial departments, People's Committees at district, commune, ward and town levels to implement. Up to now, departments, agencies, People's Committees of districts and communes have solved 165 tasks, and 159 tasks of branches and localities being resolved.

In addition, the PPC held 52 people meetings (accumulated from 2018 to date has held 85 sessions) with more than 11,400 people attending and more than 900 times of comments.

At the meeting, members of the PPC for building the steering committee of building the Provincial e-Government discussed the construction of the pilot of the digital government of Tien Giang province, in order to improve the quality and performance of state agencies, serving people and businesses better and better; optimize administration activities and transform urban governance model, etc...
