People propose investment in rural electricity network

ABO - On June 5, Vice Chairman of the Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan and leaders of Cai Be district met people in Hoa Khanh commune on the contents related to the effective governance and public administration (PAPI) index.

At the meeting, people in Hoa Khanh commune raised many opinions and recommendations to the authorities at all levels on the issues: Policies for people with meritorious services; security situation; investment in domestic water; the situation of some households trading encroachment on sidewalks in front of Hoa Khanh market; service attitude of cadres and civil servants; the situation of landslides in the Ba Hop canal affected people's travel; some power lines and power posts are down to safety, etc...

Many opinions and recommendations of people were answered in detail by local leaders and sectors.
For petitions about the service attitude of cadres and civil servants, the Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan asked Hoa Khanh commune to absorb and rectify the service attitude of cadres and civil servants to create satisfaction for the people.

Regarding the proposal to invest in upgrading the grid system, he said that the province's goal is to strive to complete the rural electricity target for all communes in the province by 2020.

However, due to unsecured resources, the province is focusing on investing in new rural construction communes in the period of 2019-2020. Therefore, Hoa Khanh commune has not yet been invested in medium and low voltage grid as standard.

He proposed, in the immediate future, the Provincial Electricity quickly to survey and repair the broken electric poles, the line which was not guaranteed to ensure electrical safety, etc...
