Members of the PPC contributed 23 drafts to the resolution at the year-end Provincial People's Council meeting. These are important drafts directly related to the general development of Tien Giang province not only for 2020 but also the development period to 2015.

The socio-economic situation in October continued to achieve positive results; the security and social order continued to be maintained. In the first 10 months, positive results achieved over the same period, such as: aquatic production increased 8.1%, industrial production index increased 11.4%; industrial production value increased 13.7%; exports increased 23.2%; domestic revenue increased 37.8%, etc...

Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong acknowledged and appreciated the activeness of the departments in developing the proposal reports. However, the achieved results also have some limitations.

For the socio-economic development tasks in November and the whole year of 2019, he noted that departments and agencies need to focus on implementing key solutions and determination to successfully achieve the targets set for the whole year as well as the 2015-2020 term.

Departments and localities review targets and focus on fulfilling the tasks in 2019, as the breakthrough year for the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2016-2020 and the fourth year of implementing targets and tasks of the Resolution of the 10th Congress of Tien Giang provincial Party Committee.
