According to Director of Tien Giang Department of Education and Training Nguyen Hong Oanh, after 5 years of implementing Resolution 88, Tien Giang province has achieved many positive results. To prepare for the new general education program, in the last school year, the province has invested in repairing and building new school facilities with a total budget of 2,516 billion VND. Particularly at the primary level, the percentage of standard classrooms in districts, cities and towns is over 89 percent; More than 79 percent of primary schools have functional rooms. The whole province has 133/189 primary schools meeting national standards, accounting for 70.4 percent, etc...
