Party's Commission for Internal Affairs launches new tasks for 2021

ABO/NDO – The Party Central Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs held a conference in Hanoi on December 30 to review its operation in 2020 and launch new tasks for the coming year.
Politburo member cum Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Organisation Pham Minh Chinh attended the event and awarded the 40-year Party membership badge to Phan Dinh Trac, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and head of its Commission for Internal Affairs.

Reports at the event revealed that the Commission for Internal Affairs fulfilled its tasks in 2020, particularly the successful completion of its duties as a standing agency of the two steering committees on anti-corruption and judicial reform.
It has done well in the task of researching and consulting with the Party and State to improve the quality of advising the Politburo and Secretariat on internal affairs and prevention and fight against corruption, as well as in Party personnel work.
The conference discussed and approved the new tasks for the sector in 2021, of which continuing to improve the quality of advisory and assisting the two steering committees and effectively implementing the Party’s policies on anti-corruption, as well as deploying well the regulations on inspection and supervision.
Speaking at the conference, comrade Phan Dinh Trac pointed to the immediate key tasks for the commission, which include focusing on preparing the documents serving the upcoming meetings of the Central Steering Committees on Anti-Corruption and Judicial Reform, as well as completing the remaining projects to submit to the Politburo.
