PM urges more efforts in promoting great historical value of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

ABO/NDO – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had an inspection and working session on August 15 with the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on the results of its performance in the first six months of the year and the periodic renovation work of the Mausoleum in 2021.

On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, PM Chinh praised the generations of staff and the Management Board for devoting themselves to this special relic throughout the process of its formation and development.

The Government leader noted that in the past six months, in the context of the two waves of the COVID-19 epidemic, the country experienced important political events and achieved significant milestones in national development.

In the common achievements of the entire Party, army and people, there were contributions and efforts made by the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, he added.

PM Chinh also praised the coordination between the Management Board and relevant ministries and branches in preserving and promoting the great historical value of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

This site has become more clean and beautiful, worthy of the love of Uncle Ho of people both at home and abroad, he added.

He also asked the Management Board and relevant agencies to continue to pay attention to the management, maintenance, and embellishment of the important historical relic site in the time to come.

At the meeting, the PM also gave instructions on a number of proposals and recommendations made by the Management Board such as the implementation of a project to renovate and upgrade the Monument of Heroes and Fallen Soldiers; and a plan on scientific cooperation with the Russian Federation to facilitate the maintenance and embellishment of the Mausoleum.
