Vietnamese, Lao Party newspapers promote cooperation

ABO/NDO - Pasaxon Newspaper, the mouthpiece of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP), published an article on December 16 about the results of the meeting between Khamphan Pheuyavong, Secretary of the LPRP Central Committee and head of its Commission for Propaganda and Training, and Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

According to the newspaper, Member of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Editor-in-chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh, who is also Deputy Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communications and Education and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, said that the communications about the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos are among the important tasks of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

He made the statement at Nhan Dan Newspaper’s head office in Hanoi on December 14 while receiving the high-level delegation of the LPRP Central Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Training led by Khamphan Pheuyavong. head of the Commission for Propaganda and Training and chairman of the LPRP Central Committee’s Theoretical Council.

The article quoted Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh as saying that, over the past 70 years, Nhan Dan Newspaper has always played an important role in the Vietnamese Party newspaper system. The newspaper has constantly renewed itself in the direction of digital transformation to meet the current development trend of journalism.

As the voice of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Nhan Dan Newspaper always attaches importance to cooperation with Pasaxon Newspaper, the mouthpiece of the LPRP Central Committee, Le Quoc Minh said. He also expressed his belief that the great friendship between Vietnam and Laos is a strong driving force for Nhan Dan Newspaper and Pasaxon Newspaper to overcome difficulties and lift the cooperative relationship between the two party newspapers to new heights.

Khamphan Pheuyavong thanked Nhan Dan Newspaper for the warm welcome and highly appreciated the results that Nhan Dan Newspaper has achieved over the years. He also believed that Nhan Dan Newspaper will continue to produce attractive media products and complete the task of digital transformation with even greater results.

The article quoted Khamphan Pheuyavong as saying, the LPRP Central Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Training will create favourable conditions for further cooperation between the two party newspapers while suggesting Nhan Dan newspaper assist Pasaxon Newspaper with information technology equipment and improving its professional quality.

Nhan Dan Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh expressed his willingness to help Pasaxon Newspaper in a methodical, long-term and effective manner.
